Year 2 Class Teacher – Wandsworth

Location: Wandsworth
Pay: £150–£190 per day
Start Date: October 2026
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term

Milk Education are working with a welcoming primary school in Wandsworth who are looking for an enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team from October.

The school is looking for a teacher who can create a positive classroom environment, deliver engaging lessons and support pupils to make strong progress throughout the year.

The Role

• Take responsibility for a Year 2 class.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum.
• Differentiate learning to meet individual needs.
• Establish positive classroom routines and expectations.
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team.

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Previous primary teaching experience.
• KS1 experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management.
• Passionate, organised and committed to pupil progress.
