Thomas Minns is a Professional Rugby player, best known for playing for Leeds Rhinos, London Broncos, Featherstone Rovers and Hull Kingston Rovers. At 26 years old he has played 92 professional games, scoring 49 tries. However, he was also battling severe anxiety and depression without realising it which sadly affected his career. However, after admitting he needed support and help, Thomas began his path to recovery and now managed to turn his life back around and is the proud founder of MinnsMind.
As a young adult, whose problems began in his early childhood, he believes he can reach out to young people and encourage them to talk based on his own personal experience. The main objectives of his presentations are to inspire and raise awareness to the next generation and encourage them to seek help.

Thomas's Support Sessions
Promoting good mental health and a positive approach to wellbeing in schools is imperative to supporting children and recognising when a struggling child may need help. For children to know they are not alone and to have someone to look up to can change their lives and encourage positive change.
Milk Academy wants to give schools the opportunity to access support for their children which is why we have partnered with Professional Rugby League Player Thomas Minns, Founder of MinnsMind. Thomas runs seminars and workshops based on his own experience on mental health. If you are interested in booking a session with Thomas for your class, he can run all of his workshops via Zoom or in person. Courses available:
