We are recruiting for a Creative Graduate for a Primary School, SEND Resource Provision in Salford, Manchester to work on a long-term basis starting January 2025.

This resource provision caters to children with moderate to severe learning difficulties, complex needs and those on the Autistic Spectrum. They have a purpose-built, state of the art building with fantastic resources such as sensory light studio, and soft play areas. This long-standing staff force strive to provide every child with stimulating experiences and promote a creative curriculum to encourage learning.

Creative Graduate Role & Responsibilities:

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
  • Contribute to developing a creative curriculum where creative learning opportunities are available for all pupils
  • Support pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Non-negotiables:

  • Must have obtained a 2:2 or above in degree
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience in one or more creative subjects (Music, Drama, Sports, Art, Creative Writing, Psychology)
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher and as part of a wider team
