Residential Support Worker- Schools, L25

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious children’s Residential Support Worker to join an exceptional SEMH school located in L25, Liverpool to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible!

You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for those with additional needs.

This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Support the pupils in classroom groups and on a 1:1 intervention basis when required.
• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
• Deliver catch-up sessions

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
• Must have a passion for helping young people
• Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
• Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
