Are you passionate about education and ready to make a real impact in secondary schools? Milk Education is looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary Cover Supervisors to join our vibrant team and work across a range of schools in Liverpool. 

About the Role: 

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to maintain continuity of education during teacher absences. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or anyone with a strong interest in secondary education.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supervising classes across the secondary age range (Key Stages 3 and 4)

  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay on task with the work set

  • Supporting students in their learning while following the lesson plan provided

  • Reporting back to teaching staff and school leaders on student progress and conduct

We’re looking for someone who: 

  • Has experience working with young people (in education or similar settings)

  • Is confident managing a classroom and engaging students

  • Can quickly build rapport and adapt to different school environments

  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Holds a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply for one)
