Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking to support teaching and learning in a vibrant and inclusive school environment? We are currently seeking a General Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Location: Liverpool
Start Date: As soon as possible 
Salary: £101.40 per day and CPD courses 

Role Overview:

As a General Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers across a range of year groups, providing valuable support in the classroom, assisting with group work, and helping pupils of all abilities reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in their learning across the curriculum

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

  • Work with small groups and individuals to reinforce learning objectives

  • Support classroom management and help maintain a positive learning environment

  • Prepare learning materials and classroom resources

  • Supervise pupils during non-teaching times, such as break and lunch

What We’re Looking For:

  • A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine interest in working with children

  • Previous experience in a school setting (preferred but not essential)

  • Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable

  • Enhanced DBS check on update service (or willingness to obtain one)
