Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School
Are you passionate about supporting the learning and development of young people? Do you have experience working with children or young adults, and a commitment to inclusive education?
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join our secondary school community. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping students with additional needs access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored in-class support to students with SEND
-
Support teaching staff in delivering differentiated learning activities

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Deliver targeted interventions on a 1:1 or small group basis

Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff

Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting (preferably secondary)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour management

The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
