Job Title: Behaviour Mentor – SEN School (Primary & Secondary)
Location: Tottenham, North London
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate or after May Half Term
Pay: £90–£115 per day (depending on experience)

Milk Education is proud to be supporting a forward-thinking SEN school in Tottenham that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils with a wide range of complex needs. They are currently seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis.

Role Overview:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

Support students who display challenging behaviours linked to SEN.

Implement behaviour management strategies and personalised intervention plans.

Work 1:1 or with small groups to help pupils regulate emotions and engage in learning.

Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to ensure holistic care.

Foster a safe, supportive, and consistent environment that enables every pupil to thrive.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour, preferably in an SEN or alternative provision setting.

Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and trauma-informed practices.

Patience, resilience, and a calm, positive approach to supporting pupils with complex needs.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A background in youth work, psychology, mental health, or education is advantageous.
