Teacher of Geography
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our thriving Humanities faculty at our successful secondary school in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to inspiring a love of Geography in young people and who is eager to contribute to a vibrant and forward-thinking department.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)

Foster a positive learning environment that supports high achievement

Use a range of assessment strategies to inform teaching and support pupil progress

Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities, including trips and fieldwork

Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and develop the department
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A degree in Geography or a related field

A strong understanding of the secondary Geography curriculum
-
High expectations for all students and a commitment to inclusive education

Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

A desire to contribute to wider school life
