Teacher of Geography

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our thriving Humanities faculty at our successful secondary school in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to inspiring a love of Geography in young people and who is eager to contribute to a vibrant and forward-thinking department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)

  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports high achievement

  • Use a range of assessment strategies to inform teaching and support pupil progress

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities, including trips and fieldwork

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and develop the department

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A degree in Geography or a related field

  • A strong understanding of the secondary Geography curriculum

  • High expectations for all students and a commitment to inclusive education

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

  • A desire to contribute to wider school life
