  • Location: Leeds

  • Pay: £101.40 to £115 per day, Monday to Friday, term time only

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:15 am – 3:45 pm), Temporary to Permanent (until the end of the Summer Term, with potential to go permanent)

Milk Education is working with a number of secondary schools across Leeds to recruit Cover Supervisors to support students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain classroom experience and develop your behaviour management and subject delivery skills in a real secondary school setting.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher. You won’t be required to plan or mark work, but you will be expected to manage the class, answer questions where appropriate, and maintain a positive learning environment.

This role is ideal for graduates interested in becoming secondary school teachers and looking to gain paid experience in the classroom across a range of subjects.

Key Experience Gained:

  • Working across a variety of departments in Key Stage 3 & 4

  • Developing classroom control and leadership techniques

  • Understanding school behaviour policies and SEN support

  • Building professional relationships with staff and students

  • Exposure to different teaching styles and school environments
