Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Milk Education are recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with pupils with SEMH needs in a school in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This role is to work full-time, on a temp to perm basis starting om May 1st 2025 and you will be supporting learners aged 7-18 who have a range of additional needs! The working hours are 08:15 – 16:30 and you will predominently be working 1:1 with students who show disregulated behaviour.

Behaviour Teaching Assistant role & responsibilities:
● Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
● Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
● Create a safe learning environment for pupils
● De-escalate behaviour that challenges through the forming of trusting relationships
SEMH Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:
● Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH.
● Must have a passion for education
● Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
