Milk Education is working in partnership with an award winning, outstanding nursery located in Aigburth, which is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team!
This is a full-time, temp to perm role supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a particular focus on play based learning.
The role is full-time and working Monday to Friday and the working hours are 08:30am- 17:30pm with a one hour break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher and work collaboratively with support staff
- Provide one-to-one and small group support across different rooms within the nursery
- Promote a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Help pupils stay on task and achieve their learning goals
Requirements:
- Qualified level 2 or 3 in early years or degree in EYFS
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Recent and relevant experience working with children within the past two years
- Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
- Must be reliable and punctual
