Role: Graduate Geography Teacher

Milk Education are working in partnership with a Secondary School based in Newham who are seeking a Geography specialist to join them on a full-time basis for the remainder of the academic year.

The sussessful candidate will be teaching Geography across KS3 covering all topics in the curriculum.  Qualified Teaching Status is not required for this position, a passion for Geography and an interest in teaching is what the school are looking for!

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students – Support and guidance will be provided

• Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that ignite curiosity and critical thinking.

• Utilise a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.

• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.

• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and academic excellence.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and enrich the curriculum.

• Actively participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

 

The successful Geography Graduate will receive considerable support from the Head of Department and fellow Geography Teachers to support with all planning and marking.
