What does a Primary Teaching Assistant do?
- Support whole‑class learning alongside the teacher
- Work with small groups or 1:1 to help pupils stay focused and make progress
- Encourage positive behaviour and routines in line with school expectations
- Assist with phonics, reading, writing, and early numeracy activities
- Be a nurturing, reliable role model who helps children feel safe, supported, and confident

What we’re looking for:
- A degree (any subject) or proven experience with children, paired with a confident can‑do attitude
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A professional presence and the ability to adapt quickly
- Previous experience in education, youth work, coaching, or tutoring is helpful but not essential
