KS2 PPA Teacher- Atherton

We are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for a Primary School in Atherton (M46) to work on a long-term basis starting September 2026!

The KS2 PPA Teacher role is to start September 2026- December 2026. This KS2 PPA Teacher role is working 5 x full days per week, Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm. The role of a KS2 PPA Teacher is to work across Year 3-Year 6, covering PPA as and when required to do so. You will be given a timetable to follow each week, and you will work closely with the class Teachers and Support Staff whilst undertaking PPA.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
  • Guiding children through the curriculum and marking work
  • Managing behaviour
  • Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

  • You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
  • Hold QTS
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Be passionate and understanding
  • Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
  • Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
  • Good communication skills
