Year 3 Teacher- September 2026

We are recruiting for a Year 3 Teacher for a Primary School in Huyton to work on a long-term basis starting September 2026!

The temporary Year 3 Teacher role is to start in September 2026. The school is considering taking someone on a temp-to-perm basis.  There are 26 children in the class, and two full-time TAs are working on a one-to-one basis with SEND children. The school would like someone with previous KS2 teaching experience and strong behaviour management skills.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
  • Guiding students through the curriculum, marking work, setting homework tasks
  • Managing behaviour
  • Upholding the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

  • You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
  • Hold QTS
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Be passionate and understanding
  • Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
  • Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
  • Good communication skills
