Milk Education are recruiting Level 2 EYFS Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children develop confidence, independence and a love for learning during the most important stages of their educational journey.
About the Role
As a Level 2 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children across Nursery and Reception classes.
- Assist with the delivery of engaging and interactive learning activities.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional and communication development.
- Support early phonics, literacy and numeracy learning.
- Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Support children with additional needs where required.
About You
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Hold a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or a related field.
- Have experience working with children within an EYFS, school or childcare setting.
- Have a basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
- Are patient, caring and passionate about supporting children’s development.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Hold, or are willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
