Milk Education is recruiting passionate and dedicated Childcare Teaching Assistants to support primary schools on both a part-time and full-time basis throughout the academic year.

We are also working closely with a number of partner schools to support their long-term and permanent support staff appointments for September, making this an excellent opportunity whether you’re seeking flexible supply work or your next permanent role.

This Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Teaching Assistant role is ideal for:

Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Teaching Assistant  Role:

You will work within primary schools, supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping to create positive learning environments where pupils can thrive.

Responsibilities of Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Teaching Assistant may include:

  • Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
  • Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with pupils
  • Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
  • Assisting with classroom routines and behaviour management
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development

What We’re Looking For in a Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Teaching Assistant :

  • A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification)
  • Experience working with children in a nursery, childcare or primary school setting
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development
  • A reliable, adaptable and proactive approach
  • Availability for at least 1–2 days per week (flexible)
