Job Opportunity: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Nursery / Early Years (Long-Term Contract)

Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have a nurturing approach and a Level 3 qualification in childcare or education? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Nursery setting on a long-term contract.

Salary:£101.40 Per day + CPD courses 

About the Role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3–5 years. You will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years staff to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that meets the individual needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support learning through play and structured activities

  • Help plan and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

  • Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress

  • Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

  • Assist with personal care and ensure the wellbeing of all children

  • Promote inclusion and equal opportunities within the setting

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) on update service willingness to obtain one
