Make a Real Difference – SEN Teaching Assistants Needed in Leeds Primary Schools

We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviour in welcoming primary schools across Leeds.

Every day is different, but every day is rewarding. You’ll play a vital role in helping children overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Support children with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to support each child’s individual needs.

We’re Looking For People Who Are:

  • Patient, resilient and calm under pressure.
  • Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • Positive, proactive and committed to making a difference.
  • Experienced in education, care, youth work, support work or similar roles (desirable but not essential).
  • Willing to learn and develop through ongoing training.
