We’re currently recruiting for Qualified Secondary Teachers to work across our partner secondary schools in Sheffield and South Yorkshire, with opportunities available for day-to-day supply, long-term placements, and temp-to-perm roles. This role is temporary and can be Full-Time or Part-Time.
Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we’ll work closely with you to find opportunities that match your subject specialism, career goals, and preferred working pattern. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality lessons within your subject specialism in line with the national curriculum.
- Planning, preparing, and assessing engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Supporting pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND or additional learning needs.
- Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff to promote student progress.
- Adapting teaching strategies to engage, challenge, and inspire learners.
- Contributing positively to the wider school community and maintaining high professional standards.
Requirements or Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within a UK secondary school.
- A secondary subject specialism, such as English, Maths, Science, Humanities, PE, Languages, Design & Technology, or similar.
- Strong classroom management and confident curriculum knowledge.
- A positive, proactive, and inclusive approach to teaching.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education).

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
