Are you a passionate and Qualified Teaching Assistant eager to make a meaningful impact in the classroom?

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals holding a Level 2 or higher qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or an equivalent credential to fill a full time position in a large secondary school in North Tyneside.

This role offers the chance to support pupils’ learning and development in a diverse and inclusive educational setting.

About the Role:

You will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and care to pupils across a range of ages and abilities. Your role will include:

  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of learning activities

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support

  • Supporting children with additional needs

  • Liaising with teaching staff and parents/carers where appropriate

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or above)

  • Experienced in supporting children in a primary or secondary school setting

  • Committed to promoting the welfare and development of all pupils

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
