We’re currently recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join a friendly Primary School in Nottingham on a long-term basis starting in September.

You’ll be joining a supportive school that values creativity, curiosity and child-centred learning. The school is committed to giving every child the best possible start to their education through engaging, play-based learning and high-quality teaching.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys creating inspiring learning experiences within the Early Years.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Reception lessons in line with the EYFS Framework

  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

  • Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development

  • Monitoring progress through observation and assessment

  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and parents

  • Encouraging independence, curiosity and a love of learning

  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguarding

Requirements or Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching within Reception or EYFS

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Passionate about supporting early childhood development

  • Creative, nurturing and organised approach

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
