School Caretaker (needed asap)

Milk Education are currently partnered up with a SEN school based in West Drayton who are in need of a caretaker to help maintain the school’s buildings and grounds to a high standard, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and minor DIY tasks around the school premises

  • Ensure the site is clean, tidy, and safe at all times

  • Monitor security systems and report any issues

  • Manage heating, lighting, and alarm systems

  • Support with health & safety checks, risk assessments, and compliance documentation

  • Liaise with external contractors when needed

  • Assist with setting up for events or moving furniture as required

  • Be a friendly, approachable presence around the school

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or maintenance role (preferably in a school or similar environment)

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general building maintenance

  • A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to health & safety

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

  • The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
