School Caretaker (needed asap)
Milk Education are currently partnered up with a SEN school based in West Drayton who are in need of a caretaker to help maintain the school’s buildings and grounds to a high standard, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and minor DIY tasks around the school premises

Ensure the site is clean, tidy, and safe at all times

Monitor security systems and report any issues

Manage heating, lighting, and alarm systems
-
Support with health & safety checks, risk assessments, and compliance documentation
-
Liaise with external contractors when needed
-
Assist with setting up for events or moving furniture as required
-
Be a friendly, approachable presence around the school
What We’re Looking For:
-
Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or maintenance role (preferably in a school or similar environment)

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general building maintenance
-
A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to health & safety
-
Good communication and problem-solving skills
-
The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
