SEND Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Richmond.

Working alongside experienced teaching staff and the SENDCo, you’ll support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and thrive in the classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD and speech and language needs.
  • Promote confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and external professionals.

About You

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
  • Patient, caring and resilient.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passionate about inclusive education.
  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils.
