We’re currently recruiting for Supply Primary Teachers to work across our partner primary schools in Salford on a day-to-day, short-term, long-term or temp-to-perm basis, starting September 2026.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of welcoming and supportive schools, gaining experience in different year groups and settings while maintaining the flexibility to choose when and where you work.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Following lesson plans and adapting activities to meet the needs and abilities of pupils.
• Maintaining a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting positive attitudes to learning.
• Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Differentiating learning and providing additional support where required, including for pupils with SEND.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff across different school settings.
• Completing appropriate classroom administration, including recording pupil progress where required.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff.
• Upholding safeguarding procedures and promoting the welfare of all children and young people.

Requirements or Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children’s development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• A flexible, adaptable and reliable approach to working across different school environments.
• The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
