Location: Liverpool 
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term (Potential Permanent Opportunity)

Milk Education are recruiting a caring, resilient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Liverpool. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment for children with a range of additional needs and is looking for committed support staff to join their team from September.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with ASC, SEMH, and complex needs in classroom and 1:1 settings

  • Deliver adapted learning activities to small intervention groups

  • Help children access learning, develop independence, and build confidence

  • Use communication tools, visual aids, and structured routines to support engagement

  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social interaction

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

  • Support personal care needs where required

About You

  • Caring, patient, and resilient nature

  • Genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach

  • Available full-time from September

  • Experience within schools or SEN settings is desirable

  • Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, sensory regulation strategies, or trauma-informed practice is beneficial (training provided)
