Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant – L36

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEN Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional SEN secondary school located in Liverpool to work on a long-term basis starting ASAP.

This is a 2-2-1 role with a young boy in Year 9.

You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for those with additional needs.

This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Support the pupil consistently on a 2:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
• Deliver catch-up sessions

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
• Have a Team Teach Trained certificate dated within the past two years
• Must have a passion for education
• Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
• Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
