In today’s digital age, where influencers hold sway over young minds, it’s crucial to ensure that the messages being conveyed are positive and empowering.

Children are incredibly impressionable, and the values they develop during their formative years can shape their outlook for life!

At Milk Education, we understand the significance of filling children’s minds with positivity, teaching them kindness, respect, acceptance, and compassion from an early age.

The Power of Positive Influencers in School

Social media has given rise to a new breed of influencers, but not all wield their influence responsibly.

Many young people look up to celebrities and online personalities whose content may not always have a positive impact. From heavily-filtered images creating unrealistic beauty standards to dangerous online trends with harmful consequences, the influence of these figures can be detrimental.

Recognising this, Milk Education has curated a group of real-life superheroes known as the Milkfluencers!

These individuals have a crucial mission: to instil values of wellness, diversity and social awareness in schools, empowering children to be kind, courageous, and resilient. From what started as a kindness movement, turned into a community charity called Make Life Kind, powered by Milk Education.

The Milkfluencers Initiative

Milk Education, is committed to making a difference in the lives of students and Educators. Through the Milkfluencers initiative, we’re taking proactive steps to support local communities by promoting positive influencers who embody the values we want to instil in young minds.

Our Milkfluencers work closely with educators and students, focusing on eight pillars of wellbeing and diversity awareness: physical, emotional, occupational, environmental, spiritual, intellectual, social, and financial.

These influencers are recommended by schools, undergo DBS checks, and are exclusively available for hire through Milk Education and the Make Life Kind charity

Empowering Change in School Through Positive Influence

Each Milkfluencer brings their unique expertise, experiences and story to the table, driving important conversations and inspiring positive change in schools.

Take Loti Nambombe, for instance, a diversity advocate who has faced personal challenges surrounding racism. Loti conducts workshops to educate young people about the causes and consequences of racism, fostering empathy and understanding among students.

Then there’s Byron Highton, who tragically lost his brother to knife crime and has since dedicated his life to preventing such tragedies. Byron delivers powerful talks on anti-knife crime and child protection, leaving a lasting impact on students and educators alike.

And let’s not forget Charlie Butcher, Milk Education’s LGBTQ+ ambassador, who bravely shares his journey of gender transition to promote inclusivity and acceptance in schools. Charlie mentors students and educates teachers on LGBTQ+ issues, ensuring that all students feel heard and supported.

In a world where negative influences abound, it’s more important than ever to champion positivity and empowerment in schools. Through the Milkfluencers, Milk Education is leading the charge, inspiring the minds of the future and shaping a brighter, more inclusive world for everyone!
