Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Milk Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting children in their learning and wants to make a genuine difference within a primary school setting.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the classroom. Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development

• Working with individuals and small groups to provide additional support

• Supporting children with a range of needs, including SEND where required

• Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging classroom environment

• Assisting with classroom activities and preparation

• Providing pastoral and general classroom support

• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff

About You

The school is looking for someone who is:

• Experienced working within a UK primary school setting

• Confident supporting children across the primary age range

• Patient, approachable and enthusiastic

• Able to build positive relationships with pupils

• Comfortable supporting pupils with additional needs

• Reliable, professional and adaptable

• A qualified Teaching Assistant or someone with relevant school-based experience

A relevant TA qualification such as Level
