For Candidates (Teachers & Support Staff)
How do I register to work with Milk Education?
Registration is simple! You can click the “Register for Work” button on our homepage. Once you’ve submitted your details, one of our specialist consultants will get in touch to conduct an initial screening and guide you through our compliance process.
What kind of roles do you offer?
We provide a wide range of opportunities including long-term placements, day-to-day supply, and permanent roles. We recruit for Primary, Secondary, and SEND teachers, as well as Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors, and Nursery Nurses.
Do I need specific qualifications to work with you?
For teaching roles, you generally need QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognized qualification. For support roles, experience working with children is highly valued. We also offer CPD (Continuing Professional Development) certification to help you enhance your skills.
How and when do I get paid?
We pride ourselves on fair and transparent pay. Candidates are paid weekly, one week in arrears, directly into their bank accounts. Your consultant will provide you with all the necessary information regarding timesheets and pay scales during your induction.
What is the compliance process?
Safety is our priority. All candidates must undergo a thorough vetting process, which includes an enhanced DBS check, identity verification, professional references, and a face-to-face (or virtual) interview.

How quickly can you provide cover for an absence?
We understand that school life is unpredictable. Our consultants are available from early morning to handle emergency “on-the-day” bookings. We have a vast pool of vetted candidates ready to step in at short notice.

Absolutely. We have a dedicated SEND division that specializes in providing staff with the specific training and experience required to support students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
