Milk Education was founded to make education recruitment more sustainable – for schools, educators and the communities around them while bringing a fresh approach to the industry.
We partner with schools, trusts, and education partners across the UK, supporting classrooms nationwide.

We exist because recruitment decisions in education have consequences. They affect pupils, staff wellbeing, school culture and long-term stability. Our role is to take responsibility for that impact and work in partnership with schools, not just respond to short-term demand.
Everything we do is guided by educational understanding, professional judgement and a commitment to moving people forward.
To make education recruitment rewarding for schools, educators and everyone who makes it happen.
We believe recruitment should support progress, not add pressure.
Every action we take should help someone move forward – whether that’s a pupil, an educator, a school leader or a community.
Our values shape how we work, how we partner with schools and how we support educators.
We work in partnership, not isolation – with schools, educators and local communities. Education doesn’t happen in a vacuum, and neither should support.
We take pride in the standards we set and the decisions we make. Our work matters, and we approach it with care, professionalism and accountability.
We treat educators as professionals, pupils as individuals and schools as complex environments that deserve understanding, not assumptions.
We follow through. We stay involved when placements are challenging and work with schools over time, not just when there’s an immediate need.
We prioritise judgement, fit and consistency over speed or volume. Quality decisions create better outcomes.
Together, these values guide how we work every day – quietly, consistently and with purpose.
Safeguarding underpins every placement and partnership at Milk Education.
All recruitment and supply work follows safer recruitment guidance and current DfE requirements. This includes enhanced DBS checks, identity verification, reference checks and safeguarding training.
Our consultants are trained to understand safeguarding responsibilities in schools and remain accountable for the placements they support. Safeguarding is not a tick-box exercise — it is an ongoing responsibility.
If schools require further detail on our safeguarding and vetting processes, we are always open to transparent conversation.
Milk Education is made up of education-trained consultants, supported by former senior school leaders and ex-headteachers who help shape our standards and approach.
We combine local knowledge with shared values and professional expectations, ensuring schools receive informed, consistent support wherever they are.
We don’t pretend schools are easy environments to work in – we respect the complexity, pressure and responsibility involved.
That understanding sits at the heart of everything we do.
Whether you’re a school looking for reliable staffing support, or an educator seeking consistent work and professional development, our team is here to help.
We’ll start with a conversation and talk honestly about how we can support you.
