Milk Education are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work within primary schools across Rotherham. We have a range of long-term, full-time and flexible day-to-day opportunities available, making this a great opportunity for experienced TAs looking for their next role.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the primary age range, working closely with teachers and the wider school team to help create a positive and engaging learning environment.

You may be supporting with:

• Classroom learning and small-group activities

• 1:1 and intervention support

• Phonics, literacy and numeracy

• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

• Behaviour and pastoral support

• Preparing resources and assisting the class teacher

About You

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – desirable

• Recent UK school-based experience

• Experience supporting children within a primary school setting

• A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
