Milk Education is recruiting a passionate Targeted Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school in North Shields.

If you love helping children build confidence, overcome challenges and celebrate their progress, this could be the perfect role for you!

You’ll deliver targeted interventions to help pupils develop essential skills, including Read Write Inc. Phonics, early reading, writing, maths and other fun, engaging learning activities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions.

• Supporting pupils with Read Write Inc. Phonics and early reading.

• Helping children strengthen their literacy and numeracy skills.

• Making learning fun through interactive activities and creative approaches.

• Building pupils’ confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.

• Working closely with teachers to help pupils make meaningful progress.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working with primary-aged children.

• A patient, positive and encouraging approach.

• Someone who can adapt their approach to meet different learning needs.

• Confidence building relationships and engaging pupils in their learning.

• Experience delivering interventions or using Read Write Inc. is a bonus!
