We are seeking a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our welcoming primary school in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in providing excellent administrative support and customer service.
As the first point of contact for many parents, visitors and pupils, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
Key Responsibilities

Welcoming parents, visitors and contractors to the school.

Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries professionally.

Managing pupil attendance records and supporting daily administration.

Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.

Assisting with school communications, letters and newsletters.

Supporting the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff with administrative tasks.

Handling confidential information in line with GDPR requirements.

General office duties including photocopying, data entry and ordering supplies.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has previous administrative or office experience (school experience is desirable but not essential).

Has excellent organisational and communication skills.

Is confident using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.

Can work efficiently, prioritise tasks and use their own initiative.

Is friendly, approachable and enjoys working with children, families and colleagues.

Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
