  • Monday to Thursday: 1:00pm – 3:30pm

  • Friday: 1:30pm – 3:30pm
    Contract: Part-time, Term Time Only (if applicable)

We are seeking a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our welcoming primary school in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in providing excellent administrative support and customer service.

As the first point of contact for many parents, visitors and pupils, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming parents, visitors and contractors to the school.

  • Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries professionally.

  • Managing pupil attendance records and supporting daily administration.

  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.

  • Assisting with school communications, letters and newsletters.

  • Supporting the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff with administrative tasks.

  • Handling confidential information in line with GDPR requirements.

  • General office duties including photocopying, data entry and ordering supplies.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has previous administrative or office experience (school experience is desirable but not essential).

  • Has excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.

  • Can work efficiently, prioritise tasks and use their own initiative.

  • Is friendly, approachable and enjoys working with children, families and colleagues.

  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
