SEND Teaching Assistant
About the Role: We’re looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting children with complex needs. This is a full-time role in a nurturing, small-group setting where pupils benefit from tailored, activity-based learning.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting pupils with autism, PMLD, and other complex needs in a structured, caring environment

Assisting with sensory regulation, communication, and personal care

Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised learning plans

Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Who We’re Looking For:

Experience working with SEND children is essential—support workers and those with personal experience are warmly encouraged to apply

Calm, empathetic, and resilient individuals who thrive in a hands-on, team-focused setting

Must be able to drive to access school sites
