SEN Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are recruiting a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Clapham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their personal and academic goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Assist pupils with communication, emotional regulation and learning.
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Encourage independence and confidence.
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting SEND is desirable.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
