Milk Education are seeking a committed and resilient English Teacher to join a dedicated department in a Secondary school in Newcastle from September. The role will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 English, with the expectation of planning and delivering engaging English lessons to support students in developing a strong understanding of Literature and Language. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective learning outcomes
- Uphold the values and standards of Milk Education and our partner schools
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in English – able to teach KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education)
