Pastoral Support Assistant

Milk Education are recruiting a caring and resilient Pastoral Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Wandsworth.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, behaviour and personal development.

The Role

• Provide support to pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Support behaviour management strategies.
• Assist pupils in developing confidence and self-regulation.
• Work alongside teachers, SEND staff and pastoral teams.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Experience working with children or young people.
• A calm and patient approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child wellbeing.
• The ability to build trusted relationships.
