Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Milk Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in the L20 area, supporting a KS1 child with ASD. You will be based in the classroom, supported by the Teacher and Pastoral team to implement an education health care plan for the child.
As the level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will also provide sensory play sessions each day as part of the child’s tailored plan. The school has excellent facilities including outdoor learning, sensory room and new outdoor play area

The role is full-time: Monday – Friday 9.00 am-3.00 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 or small‑group support for pupils with SEND
- Assist with learning activities, communication development, and sensory exploration
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support teams
- Follow individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (essential) or similar
- A genuine interest in working within SEND
- Experience supporting pupils with complex needs (desirable, not essential)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Ability to commit to full‑time
- Patient, reliable, and confident working in a specialist school setting
