The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll help children achieve their full potential in a positive and engaging learning environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in class, in small intervention groups and on a 1:1 basis.

  • Assist with delivering engaging learning activities across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

  • Encourage pupil confidence, independence and positive behaviour.

  • Support children with SEND where required.

  • Help create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting.

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

  • A positive, patient and proactive attitude.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Passion for helping children achieve their best.
