Send Support Worker

Join us and gain access to training, personal development opportunities, and ongoing support.  We’re currently recruiting for a  SEND Support Worker  to join  a Mainstream Secondary School  in  Liverpool  on a  long term basis starting in September. 

You’ll be joining an  inclusive  school, focused on  wellbeing  and community, etc. 

This is  a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand. 

  What  You’ll Be Doing in the Role:     

  • Supporting pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs 

  • Working with the class teacher in lesson planning,  evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate 

  • Conducting one to one  sessions with children requiring extra support 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting 

  • Must  possess good numeracy and literacy skills 

  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
