Primary Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kingston upon Thames who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys helping children develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role

• Support pupils during whole-class and independent learning.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum activities.
• Provide additional support to pupils who require extra guidance.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Work closely with the class teacher to support pupil progress.
• Help prepare engaging classroom resources and activities.

About You

• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
• Experience within a UK primary school is advantageous.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and proactive.
• Passionate about helping children reach their potential.
