Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant – Full Time

We’re currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Nottinghamshire on a full-time basis from September.

You’ll be joining a supportive and nurturing school with a strong focus on providing children with the best possible start to their education. This role will be based within the school’s Nursery provision and is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Level 3 TA or Early Years professional.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children within the Nursery setting on a full-time basis

  • Working alongside the Nursery team to provide engaging and age-appropriate learning activities

  • Supporting children’s communication, language and personal development

  • Encouraging learning through play and exploration

  • Supporting early literacy, numeracy and physical development

  • Building positive relationships with children and helping them develop confidence and independence

  • Maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment

  • Working closely with colleagues to support children’s individual needs

Requirements or Skills:

  • Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent

  • Recent experience working within Nursery, EYFS or a primary school setting

  • Strong understanding of Early Years development

  • A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to support children in line with the EYFS framework

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare

This role is initially offered until October half term, with the potential to continue depending on recruitment and school requirements.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
