We’re currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher in Swinton to join a supportive secondary school on a long-term basis. Your Main Responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Preparing resources and adapting lessons to meet different learning needs

Assessing student progress and providing appropriate feedback

Building positive relationships with students and staff

Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining high expectations

Supporting pupils to develop their confidence and mathematical understanding

Contributing to the wider life of the Maths department and school community
Requirements or Skills
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
-
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging Maths lessons

Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

A professional and positive classroom presence

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
-
A commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential

A genuine interest in securing a long-term Maths teaching position in Swinton
