Pay: £100–£115 per day

Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are working with a friendly primary school in Croydon who are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their classroom team from September.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being actively involved in classroom learning and supporting pupils across different areas of the curriculum.

The Role

• Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Support pupils with English and Maths activities.
• Assist with reading and phonics.
• Help prepare classroom resources and learning activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and good learning habits.
• Support pupils to develop confidence and independence.
• Contribute to a positive and engaging classroom environment.

About You

• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
• School or classroom experience would be advantageous.
• Caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach.
• Confident working with individuals and groups.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passionate about supporting children’s learning.
