Make School More Exciting! – Creative & Enrichment Assistant | Hartlepool

Are you creative, energetic and full of ideas? Love art, drama, music, crafts or getting children involved in something new?

Milk Education is looking for a Creative & Enrichment Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Hartlepool.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to bring energy, creativity and fun into the school day, while helping children develop confidence, communication and teamwork.

You don’t need to have years of classroom experience. If you’ve worked in performing arts, sport, childcare, youth work, events, community projects or education, your experience could be a fantastic fit.

What Could You Be Getting Up To?

  • Supporting art, craft and creative projects.
  • Getting involved in drama, storytelling and role-play.
  • Supporting music and performance activities.
  • Using creative activities to encourage literacy and communication.
  • Helping pupils develop problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Supporting individuals and small groups.
  • Encouraging children to try something new.
  • Bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm into the classroom.
  • Supporting school enrichment activities and events.

We’re Looking For Someone Who…

  • Is creative, enthusiastic and full of personality.
  • Enjoys working with children.
  • Isn’t afraid to get involved and have fun.
  • Has excellent communication skills.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Has experience in arts, drama, music, sport, childcare, youth work or education — desirable but not essential.
  • Is a graduate, aspiring teacher or someone with volunteering/placement experience working with children.
  • Is reliable, adaptable and ready to make every school day count.

Why This Role?

Not every child discovers their confidence through a textbook.

Sometimes it’s through painting, performing, creating, playing or simply being given the chance to try something different.

You could be the person who helps a quiet child find their voice, gives a nervous pupil the confidence to perform or inspires a child to discover something they’re brilliant at.

Bring your creativity. We’ll bring the classroom.
