We’re currently recruiting for Exam Invigilators in Stockport to support secondary schools during busy examination periods. This Exam Invigilator role in Stockport is ideal for university students, graduates, teaching assistants, education professionals or anyone looking for flexible, seasonal or part-time work.

You’ll be supporting schools during key examination periods, helping ensure exams run smoothly and in line with JCQ regulations and school procedures. Full JCQ exam invigilator training is provided, so previous exam invigilation experience is not essential.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Supervising students during GCSE, A-Level and other school examinations

• Ensuring examinations are conducted in line with JCQ regulations

• Distributing and collecting examination papers and materials

• Monitoring students throughout examinations and maintaining a calm environment

• Responding appropriately to any issues or queries during an examination

• Supporting the school’s examination team with general exam duties

• Maintaining confidentiality and following safeguarding procedures

Requirements or Skills

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

• A calm, professional and responsible approach

• Confidence supervising groups of secondary school students

• Good communication skills

• Reliability and punctuality are essential

• Previous experience working in a school or as an Exam Invigilator is beneficial but not essential

• Full JCQ training will be provided

• Ability to work during key seasonal examination periods
