Milk Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the TS10 area from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Music Teacher to join a supportive school and make a real impact on students’ learning and musical development. The successful candidate will be confident delivering engaging Music lessons across the secondary age range and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
The Role
As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Inspiring students and developing their interest and confidence in Music
- Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Supporting students of different abilities and learning needs
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Working collaboratively with the Music Department and wider school staff
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and extracurricular opportunities where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Music Teacher who:
- Has QTS or equivalent teaching status
- Has experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
- Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Music
- Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
- Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Can build positive relationships with students and staff
- Is reliable, adaptable and committed to providing high-quality education

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
