We’re currently recruiting for an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming Primary School in Nottingham on a long-term basis starting in September.

You’ll be joining a nurturing and inclusive school focused on wellbeing, community and creating a positive environment where every child is encouraged to learn, grow and thrive.

This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced EYFS Teacher to become a familiar face in a school where strong relationships, consistency and a love of learning go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative and age-appropriate lessons and activities across the EYFS curriculum

  • Supporting children’s learning and development through purposeful play and targeted activities

  • Creating a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Monitoring and assessing children’s progress and adapting learning to meet individual needs

  • Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development

  • Working closely with teaching assistants and other school staff to provide consistent support

  • Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

  • Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging children to develop confidence and independence

Requirements or Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Recent experience teaching within EYFS or Reception

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum

  • Experience planning and delivering engaging learning activities

  • Confident supporting children’s development and assessing progress

  • A nurturing, patient and creative approach

  • Comfortable working as part of a team and communicating effectively with colleagues and parents

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
